ELi is Searching for a New Executive Director
East Lansing Info is searching for a new executive director during an exciting period of growth.
Current Executive Director Beth Peck is stepping down at the end of August to focus on the next chapter in her life. Beth has served as ELi’s executive director since 2023.
“Being in a leadership role at ELi was a highlight in my career, and I loved serving my community in that capacity,” Beth said. “I truly believe in the mission!”
The new executive director will take over during an exciting time for ELi. Recently, ELi received a large grant from the Online Journalism Project that will allow us to grow our staff and expand our reporting capabilities. The new executive director will help ELi navigate spending these funds and growing our staff.
We’re searching for someone with experience working in nonprofit leadership, donor relations or fundraising, who is committed to help ELi continue to bring essential reporting.
The executive director will be expected to spend 20 hours each week overseeing personnel, managing finances and fundraising, serving as liaison to ELi’s board of directors and representing the organization to the broader community.
Interested? Email Beth at publisher@eastlansinginfo.news to submit your application. We will begin reviewing applications Tuesday, July 15, and continue to accept applications until the position is filled.
