ELPD Searching for Missing Woman (UPDATE: Located)

UPDATE: On October 24 at 7:22 p.m., ELPD sent out an update indicating that Ashana Smith has been located.

The East Lansing Police Department sent out an alert last night, Oct. 23, that officers are searching for Ashana Lamise Smith, who was last seen Oct. 17.

Smith, a 25-year-old Black woman, is five-foot-six-inches tall and weighs approximately 140 pounds.

She was last seen on the 100 block of North Harrison Road around 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 17. She was wearing a red jacket, blue jeans, and blue Tommy Hilfiger sandals.
