Donate Now and Help ELi Keep the Lights On

Beth Peck December 30, 2023December 30, 2023

As we’ve all been embracing the spirit of giving this holiday season, there is a remarkable opportunity to make a lasting difference right here in our community – donate to East Lansing Info.

While our annual giving campaign wraps up Sunday (Dec. 31), there is still time to make a donation. I invite you to join the hundreds of donors who have donated thus far in fostering the power of information. We are 11 new donors away from accessing an additional $500 bonus from NewsMatch! We also still have matching dollars left, so donations made on or before Dec. 31 have the opportunity to be matched.

A community thrives when it is well informed, and East Lansing Info has been at the forefront of delivering timely and reliable news to our community. Your support is crucial in ensuring that we continue to serve as the voice of our community, keeping you informed about local events, issues and stories that matter.

In an era dominated by digital noise, East Lansing Info remains committed to providing in-depth, investigative journalism. Your donation will directly contribute to the resources needed to sustain this commitment and maintain the high standards you’ve come to expect from us.

While the world of news is rapidly changing, local journalism remains the bedrock of a strong community and a strong democracy. Your donation ensures we can continue to shine a light on local stories, hold leaders accountable and celebrate the achievements of our fellow community members.

Going into this campaign, we knew we had set a hefty goal of raising $200,000. And, while it does not look like we will meet that goal, we need your help getting as close to it as possible. So far we’ve raised nearly $119,000, taking us to roughly 60% of our goal. Help us keep the lights on by donating now using one of the options below:

  • Visit eastlansinginfo.news/donate/ to find clickable links to give using your credit card
  • Send a check to P.O. Box 115, East Lansing, MI, 48826-0115
  • Reach out to us through email to find other ways to give: fundraise@eastlansinginfo.news

In the spirit of the season, we urge you to consider making a contribution to East Lansing Info’s annual campaign. Your support is not just a donation, it’s a commitment to keeping the community informed. Together, let’s ensure that the light of local journalism continues to shine brightly in 2024.

Wishing you happiness and good health.
